Copper foiled Christmas decorations workshop
This class is suitable for complete beginners and will enable you to make up to 2 x copper foiled decorations. You will have the opportunity to make up to 2 x copper foiled sun catcher/decorations using a pre-cut design from a selection available on the day, (Angel, a 6-point star, or Christmas tree), you will be shown the foiling technique and will be able to take them home at the end of the workshop
Cost £35.00 per student (maximum 6 per session)
Fri 29-11-24 and 14-12-24 10-12noon and 2-4pm
Evening session, Thursday 12th December 6pm to 8pm
Fused glass Christmas decorations workshops
You will learn how to cut the glass and assemble the glass ready for fusing in the kiln. You will be shown samples of how to make tree decorations or you may wish to make a small freestanding S-curve with a Christmas theme. You may also mount some or all of your pieces onto tea light holders. There will be some pre-cut elements available so that you can make snowmen or reindeer decorations (maximum of 4 decs per person). Due to the firing process you will need to return to the studio to collect your pieces up to one week later.

Christmas Lanterns workshop
This is an opportunity to create your own bespoke fused glass panels to replace the original plain glass. These can be Christmas themed or another design of your choice. The base glass will be clear transparent glass and you will have access to a whole range of coloured sheet glass, frit and stringers etc. The cost of this workshop includes the lantern (please note the lantern will not be the same as the image in the photo) and your panels will be fitted into your lantern ready for you to collect the following week.
