Bee and Honeycomb workshop
In this workshop you will have the opportunity to make a bee and honeycomb hanging panel. The panel will be made of 7 x pre-cut hexagonal pieces of yellow stained glass and 2 pre-cut bees (made up of 5 x small pieces each) to create the bees and these will be mounted on pieces of wire to look like the bees are flying around the honeycomb. There will be no cutting involved in this workshop and you will be able to complete the hanging within the 1 and a half hour time and then take the piece away within you to hang in your home. Please be aware that the panel is designed to be hung indoors only as the weather will cause the copper foiling to lift off the glass and fall apart.
This workshop is suitable for adults only as the foiling technique uses a soldering iron. This workshop is for a maximum of 4 x students per session and there will be 2 x session per day
The Cost of this workshop is £50.00 per person and includes all materials, use of equipment and tuition

Copper foiled robot
In this workshop you will have the opportunity to make a 3 dimensional stained glass robot using the copper foiling technique. There will be a selection of pre cut stained glass pieces that may require further grinding and shaping to ensure a neat fit as you start to build the components of your robot.
You will also be instructed and guided on how to construct your pieces of glass into a number of boxes that will be joined together with additional foil and solder. Once you've completed you robot construction you can personalise it by using marker pens plus adding some detail elements such as eyes and mouth. These will be attached to the robot using clear silicon. This workshop is suitable for adults only as the foiling technique uses a soldering iron. This workshop is for a maximum of 4 x students per session to ensure that all students get personal guidance when required as well as group instruction
