Copper foiled houses 

​

In this workshop you will construct a 3 dimensional House from pre-cut sections by joining them together using the copper foiling technique, The panels will have self adhesive lead windows and doors attached and these can be filled with air drying glass paints or they can be left blank, The houses are designed to enable a tea light candle to be used to illuminate the house. This is a great way to spend a few hours and create a piece to use to brighten up your winter evenings

The workshop is suitable for beginners and no previous experience is required. This is suitable for adults only (16yrs +) as you will be using chemical flux, patinas and soldering irons

This workshop will last  2.5 hrs and will be for a maximum of 6 x students per session 

The cost will be £55.00 per person and this includes all materials and use of all the necessary tools etc  

You will be able to take the house home with you at the end of the session

Fused glass Jewellery workshop 

This is an opportunity to make up to 4 x fused glass pendants using a mixture of techniques including reactive glasses, bubbles with copper oxide powder, and Dichroic glass. I will demonstrate 1 x pendant in the microwave kiln and this will be used to fix demonstrate how to fix the jewellery finding onto the pendant.

This workshop is an adult only workshop as we will be using etching paste and superglue as part of the workshop, This will be for a maximum of 6 x students per session and the cost will be £60.00 per person and includes all materials tools and full tuition

Due to the firing process you will need to collect you pieces the following week   

1-6-24, there will be  2 x workshops 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm

Fused Glass Fish skeleton sun catcher 

In this workshop you will get the chance to make a fish skeleton to decorate 6 x pieces of clear base glass with a selection of fused glass elements including  sheet glass, stringers and noodles Frit and ready mixed enamel paints. Each section will be joined with a single strip of glass up the centre and a swivel loop will be attached to the head to enable it to spin when hung up. This is suitable for all ages from 8years old upwards and will take approximately 1hr to complete. The cost will be £22.00 per person and all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Due to the firing process the fish will need to be collected the following week 

24-5-24 and 25-5-24, there will 3 x workshops and they will be for a maximum of 6 x students 10-11am, 1-2pm and 4-5pm
